Rome at Dusk, Day 1

The Vittorio Emanuele II monument in Rome Italy is gorgeous. It looks like a royal palace! From there, wandering around town led to a random street that opened up to the Pantheon. I read about this in books, but it was incredible to be standing inside of it. I was dying to see the Trevi Fountain, and you can hear the acoustics of the rush of the water before you can see it. Follow the sound and when the view does open up to you, you will be blown away. I could have sat there all night, and I guess everyone else felt the same way. You have to make your way through a mob scene to even get a photo in front of the fountain! Did I throw a coin in backwards?... you better believe it. I cant wait to return to this ancient city!
